Granted, the scope in this type of game is rather limited, but there are still many interesting things that could have been included. It would have been much more satisfying if the creators of Combat Army had used their imaginations to come up with completely different types of missions. However, these game modes are not really anything special in themselves and they are clearly clones of missions taken from other games. The objectives and missions in each of these modes are different, which allows teams of gamers to spend many happy hours making their way through the locations, looking for the enemy and taking them out before being spotted. In addition, players have the choice of four different game modes, namely Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Search & Destroy and the Deathmatch.

There are multiple routes marked out on the maps for players to navigate as well as a large number of strategic points to utilise such as sniper decks and choke points. There are six different maps for players to explore, and the great graphics and attention to details in the Combat Arms world makes exploring the locations a lot of fun. One of the main advantages of the game is that it is completely free, which is nothing to sneeze at. Combat Arms feels a lot like a Counter Strike clone without offering gamers anything really new or different.
